OUR APPROACH
A different kind of support for a different kind of moment.
Isle Point Consulting was created to support professionals navigating one of the most complex, and often under-supported, moments in a career: transition.
Not just the tactical decisions, but the identity shifts, the uncertainty, and the quiet questions about what comes next.
This work sits at the intersection of leadership, change, and lived experience — offering support that is both structured and deeply human.
Meet Julie
Julie MacDonald is a senior leader turned executive coach focused on leadership and career transition coaching, with more than two decades of experience operating at the intersection of people, performance, and organizational risk within complex, global environments.
Throughout her corporate career, Julie held leadership roles responsible for navigating high-stakes moments — restructures, leadership transitions, organizational change, and people-risk — where decisions carried both business and human consequences.
That experience shaped her ability to see clearly in ambiguity, ask better questions, and guide others through complexity with both precision and perspective.
Her coaching is further informed by accredited training and grief-informed education — alongside her own lived experience of transition, including being restructured out of a senior role. This combination allows her to support clients in a way that is both credible and deeply attuned to what change actually feels like.
Julie’s work is grounded, structured, and intentional.
She does not offer surface-level motivation or generic career advice.
She partners with clients to help them think clearly, make aligned decisions, and move forward with confidence — especially when the path is not obvious.

Why Isle Point?
OR
It is either highly strategic:
focused on roles, resumes, and next steps
Most career and leadership support sits at one end of the spectrum.
It is highly emotional:
focused on processing change without clear direction forward.
Isle Point bridges both.
This is support designed for real careers and real lives — where decisions are rarely purely logical, and change is never purely professional.
It is coaching that helps clients think clearly, feel supported, and move forward with intention, without minimizing the human side of the process.
This work is about more than your next role.
It is about making decisions that reflect who you are now,
and who you want to be moving forward.
